Well, his activities range from Kalahandi to Kashmir
As a social activist, he founded ‘Kalahandi Gana Parishad’ in 1997 an organization to sensitize, educate and organize people for development of this backward district. Apart from that, he also demanded the Govt. of India to draw a National Policy on Droughts. He also started a body called ‘Kalahandi Bikash Abhiyan’ in 2006 to highlight the potential of Kalahandi in the prospect of industrialization. In 2006, he started Nuapada Bikash Adhiyan by organizing the people of grass root level to raise voice for social justice, economic development etc. In 2016, he started the ‘Shinning Kalahandi’- a forum for uniting the intellectuals for industrial development of Kalahandi. In 1992 he had the privilege of being nominated as the National convener of Chhatra Yuva Sangharsha Vahini founded by Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan and become a part of ‘The total Revolution’. In 1995, he became the National Convenor of People Initiative of Kashmir (PIK), an Allahabad based organization formed to open an avenue for peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan.
No real social change has ever been brought about without a revolution... revolution is but thought carried into action.

It turns out that advancing equal opportunity and economic empowerment is both morally right and good economics, because discrimination, poverty and ignorance restrict growth, while investments in education, infrastructure and scientific and technological research increase it, creating more good jobs for all of us.

As an editor and publisher, he has published the Surya-1986, The Kalahandi Express-2012, a monthly magazine. However these are not in vogue. Now he is editing the Bande Kalahandi a monthly newspaper since 2014-15.
